Q: Is there a way to print a list of the Master Documents and Master Clauses?
A: In Summit; click on “System” then “General Information”. By clicking on the Master Docs or Master Clause button, you will have an option to print the lists.
Q: How do I edit a Master Document or Master Clause?
A: In Summit, click on “System” then “Master Docs/Clauses”. To edit a Master Document, click on “Master Docs”. Select the type of escrow the document is used in (i.e.: Sale). Highlight the document you want to edit and click “Edit”. When finished editing, click “Save”. You will then be prompted to close the document. Click “yes”. Use this same procedure to edit a Master Clause.
Q: How do I insert a merge-field into a Master Document?
A: When editing a Master Document, the “insert merge-field” icon can be found directly to the left of the “Insert Word Field” button. Clicking on this icon will present a list of virtually every data field in the Summit system.
Q: How do I put the mergefield for today’s date in a Master Document?
A: When editing a Master Document, click on “Insert” at the top of the screen. Click on “Field”. Scroll down and select “Date” on the left side of the screen. On the right side, select the format you would like for the date. Click “OK”.
